Aaron Carter Sanford, born on September 16, 2000, in Bellflower, California, peacefully passed away on September 11, 2024 at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah, just days shy of his 24th birthday.
Aaron journey was one marked by a profound spirit and a deep passion for life. He started his college career studying international affairs at Seton Hall University, but then a new calling transpired and he made the courageous decision to follow that calling by enrolling at Le Bouveret Culinary Academy in Switzerland, located near the stunning Lake Geneva. Once graduating from Le Bouveret and upon his return to the United States, he began an internship as a chef at the Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point, Utah, where he further honed his skills and nurtured his creativity.
He was known for his contemplative demeanor; although he did not speak often, his words were always reflective and impactful. Conversations with Aaron often left a lasting impression, as he had a remarkable ability to engage in thoughtful and meaningful discussions. The grandest aspect of Aaron was undoubtedly his beautiful spirit; those who were fortunate enough to know him felt uplifted and valued in his presence.
Aaron is remembered lovingly by his mother, Erica Lewis, and his grandmother, Royetta Sanford. He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Sandy Sanford, whose legacy struck a chord in Aarons decision to pursue that culinary calling.
As friends and family mourn the loss of Aaron, they celebrate a life that was filled with promise and inspiration, cherishing the memories and moments shared with such a kind and gentle soul. His light will forever shine in the hearts of those he touched.
