Ake Fulilangi

Ake Fulilangi, age 31, died on June 8, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steven Fakatakatu Fulilangi and Akesiu Maile Fulilangi.



Ake was a hard worker, and was a finisher for construction by trade. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was loyal and a friend to all in need. He was an exceptional artist. He would share his talent of art through thoughtful, ornate cards that he would send to his family and friends throughout the years. He had a laugh that would make others laugh. His laugh was unique and full, a laugh you could pick out of a crowd. If you knew his heart, he loved hard. Ake was loving and always knew how to crack a joke to lighten the mood.



He is survived by his girlfriend June Apaui, two sons Kyelu and Kitione, mother Akesiu, sister Umukisia, brothers Steven Jr., Kelepi, and Kitione.



He is preceded in death by his father Steven Fakatakatu Fuliliangi Sr., grandparents Taniela and Meleseini Maile, and Viliami Maeliuaki and Umukisia Maeliuaki.



Funeral services will be taking place Saturday, June 12, 2021 for a family service 10 - 12 PM at the West Valley 9th Ward, 3300 South 4440 West, West Valley City, UT, 84120. The bishop service will follow from 1 - 2 at the West Valley 9th Ward. Burial services to follow at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South, Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123.
