Beverly Anne Wilcox passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on February 21, 1940, in Ely, Nevada to William and Silva Lee.

She married her teenage sweetheart, Ray Lamar Christensen on March 4, 1956 and they were blessed with three sons and a daughter. Ray passed away when their kids were young. Some time later, she met William Stanley Wilcox, and they were married on September 17, 1966. They were blessed with 3 more children and enjoyed watching their family grow as they loved each other into their golden years together.

Beverly was known as being a very hospitable person who tended to her whole extended family, friends, and everyone around her. She always made sure everyone was well cared for. She did a magnificent job at raising her children and played a major part in raising her grandchildren as well. Many years of her work was spent in service, including caring for, cleaning for and cooking for others.

Bev's hobbies included: sewing, gardening, crafting, bowling (in her early years), listening to vinyl records and singing along.Beverly volunteered for many years for Duchesne and Roosevelt food drops, pantries, and Meals-on-Wheels. Eventually, she managed the Duchesne Food Pantry. In her early years she volunteered many hours for the PTA of her children’s schools and for other charitable organizations. She was also an award-winning Avon Representative.

She is survived by her children, James (Laura) Christensen, Curtis (Pam) Christensen, Lela (Leon) Lemmon, Billie (Trent) Danvers, John (Bobbie) Wilcox, Chris (Kristy) Wilcox, 15 grandchildren, their partners, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She was proceeded in death by her husbands, Ray Christensen and Bill Wilcox; her son, Lamar Christensen; her parents; and all 8 of her siblings.
A celebration of life will be held on June 29, 2024, at Magna Copper Park. Please contact the family for more details.
