Brandon Paul Kennedy of Salt Lake City passed away September 18th, 2024, he was 50 years old.
Born on April 23rd, 1974, Brandon grew up in Sandy, Utah as a very active boy. Brandon was the youngest of two boys to Gerald (Jerry) and Gaylene N. Kennedy, he was known in the neighborhood as the cutest little dark-haired boy with the adorable big glasses. Brandon played soccer, rode bikes, snowboarded, skateboarded & skied. He loved music, played the guitar, was an amazing DJ & never hesitated to drop it down with his break-dancing moves. Brandon loved fishing Sturgeon along the Snake River in Idaho and did it every chance he could.
Brandon was a very talented artist and those who have been blessed with some of his artwork today will forever hold a piece of him in their heart every day.
One of Brandon’s favorite moments was the day he met “Prince” at a concert in Salt Lake City. After attending school at Cottonwood High School, he began working in different fields as a Chef/Cook, Fence Builder as well as being lucky enough to help assemble the floor of the Utah Jazz Arena. However, DJing, making music and traveling to different places, setting up stages and sound systems for Big Bands, the Stadium Of Fire and many other events is where he was happiest.
Brandon will always be remembered as a Son, Brother and friend who was always kind, had a funny sense of humor and his “DC” Skater shoes, his BIG coke bottle glasses and his trusty backpack where he carried some of his most favorite treasures.
Preceded in death by his Mother, Gaylene Nordberg Kennedy. Survived by his Father, Jerry (Jeannie) Kennedy, Brother, Trevor (Shelley) Kennedy, Step Sisters, Lisa (Kenny) Sharp and Debra Valencia. Brandon also had many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
