Charles (Chic) Theron Webber Jr., age 90 passed on May 2nd, 2022. He was the first-born child of Charles Theron and Cora McQuiston Webber, being born on October 20th, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He graduated from West High School in 1950 and married Beverly Jean Kelson on August 12th, 1950.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on May 22nd, 1964. Charles was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had many callings through out his life.

Later in his life he and Beverly were called to serve a four-year mission in the Interstate Mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. Then they were also called to serve a one-year mission in Arcadia, California.

Charles loved his horses and he loved to go riding with his friends and especially his son, Ty. He took very good care of his horses and had many ribbons and trophies from all the events he had entered them in. He not only loved his horses he also loved his boats also especially racing them on the Colorado River and he won trophies doing it. He worked for Starfire Boats in Utah as a sales representative and would travel all over to different states selling and showing Starfire boats in boat shows.

Charles was a entrepreneur of many things in his life time. He had the privilege of being the first to bring the distributorship of Haagen Dazs ice cream into the state of Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jean Kelson Webber, and his children; Charlee (Bob) Weidauer of Henderson, Nevada, Pamela Jo (Don) Evans of Murray, Utah, Kim Lake of St. George, Utah, Jackie Lynn Moore of Sandy, Utah, Tyron Boyd (Roxann) Webber of Bluffdale, Utah. Charles is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in death by his son, Charles (Chic) Theron Webber III; parents, Charles and Cora Webber; sister, Cora Donnette Ehlers; brother, Lawrence Ross (Bud) Webber; great-grandson, Israel Kingston Jr.; great-granddaughter, Taylor Kay Dellinger.

Viewing services will be held in St. George, Utah on May 11th, 2022, from 6pm to 7pm at the church meeting house at 1285 N Bluff Street. Another viewing will be held in Taylorsville, Utah on May 14th, 2022, from 11am to 12pm at Redwood Memorial on 6500 S Redwood Road.

A graveside service will be held May 14th after the viewing in the Redwood Cemetery.

We want to give a special thanks to Applegate Hospice for all the great care they gave to him. Thanks to all the people who came and sat with him, talking to and entertaining him. We appreciate all of Mom's friends who jumped in to help when she needed them. We love you all.
