Daniel Curtis Brock, 62, of Provo passed away May 8th, 2024 due to a tragic car accident. Dan’s sons, Jordan and Ryan Brock, were blessed to have a short time to talk with him and be by his side prior to his passing.
Danny was born to Carol Dean Brock and Claudia Winther (later divorced) on November 11th, 1961 just a few short years after his big sister, Sherry.
Dan’s Dad lived in San Diego with his life partner Tove’ Bernstein where Dan and the “Boys” spent time every summer together.
Dan’s mom later married Russel Bishop and together they eventually made a family of 9 children.
Danny grew up in California, Peru, and Provo, graduating in 1980 from Timpview High.
In 1985 Dan married Shelley Jacobsen (later divorced) and together they made two beautiful sons. Jordan and Ryan. The “Boys “were his whole world and always will be.
In 1998 he received his Journeymans License as an Electrician.
In 2020, his newest pride and joy, his grandson Hank Caldean Brock was born, whom he just adored.
Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, hanging with his boys, his family and his friends. Dan had a passion for always tinkering with anything from vehicles to, well just about everything.
Dan is survived by his “Boys”, Jordan D’Wayne Brock, Ryan Daniel and Celina (Evan) Brock, and grandson, Hank Brock. His siblings and their spouses and families Sherry (John) Alius, Giana (James) Nielsen, Lori (Michael) Seage, David (Sandy) Bishop, Leslie (Aaron) Boyce, Scott (Angie) Bishop, Brett (Heather) Bishop, Jonathan (Natalie) Bishop. Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Dan will be sorely missed by his family, friends, colleagues and anyone who might have met him.
May you forever watch over your kids, Jordan, Ryan, Celina, Evan and “Hankster”.

Viewing will be Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at the LDS Church 131 S. 1600 W. Provo from 11:00am-12:30pm. Followed by a graveside service at East Lawn Memorial Hills 4800 E. Lawn Dr. in Provo.
