David Wayne Pitts

David Wayne Pitts, age 63, of Hurricane, Utah, passed away on November 18, 2024. Born in California on November 9, 1961, David lived a vibrant life full of adventure and passion. He the beloved husband of Shanda Pitts, whom he married on October 11, 2012. Together, they shared a beautiful journey marked by love and companionship.

David was a man of many interests and hobbies that reflected his adventurous spirit. He had a deep passion for motorcycle racing and enjoyed the thrill it provided. His artistic talents shone through in his leather work, and he was known for his creativity as an artist. David found joy in nature and spending time outdoors, often combining that love with his affinity for music, particularly his enjoyment of playing guitars. He was also a fan of NASCAR and held a special place in his heart for the band KISS.

In addition to his many hobbies, David leaves behind a loving family who will profoundly miss him. He is survived by his wife, Shanda Pitts; his sons, Nathan Pitts and Bryce Pitts; and his daughters, Misty Adolf, Vanessa Jones, and Desiree Jones. David was also a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren.

David was met in death by his mother and siblings, who he is now reunited with. His warm presence and zest for life touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service to honor David’s life will be held on December 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hurricane City Cemetery, located at 225 600 North, Hurricane, Utah 84737.
