Debra "Debbie" McGregor

If you know anything about Debbie and her family, they are non-traditional and have a very quirky sense of humor. So please do not expect a traditional obituary.
Let's walk through the "Decades of Debbie"

1952-1962
Debbie McGregor was born on March 28, 1952 in Ogden, UT to Byron Empey McGregor (deceased) and Donna Marie Welker McGregor (deceased). She spent that decade learning to walk and talk and be dressed up like a doll by her mother. Debbie also spent time rough housing with her big brother Jeff Byron McGregor (Cyndee) and going to work with her dad on occasion, which was always one of her fondest memories.

1963-1973
Let's take a look at the next decade and see what Deb was doing. This decade was full of change and new things happening. Debbie spent time helping take care of her brother Scott Duncan McGregor (Cindy). Then something happened to Debbie, and her mother Donna would agree. Debbie went from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. It was hard to keep the boys away, but one boy would not go away and that was Douglas Edwin Ball (Patricia). And yes, there was a wedding. There was also another surprise in Debbie's life. Her baby brother Christopher Lowell McGregor was born and he was a joy.

1974-1984
Well now here we are to what has to be Debbie's most eventful decade. She was a very busy lady. On July 27, 1974 Debbie gave birth to her first child Miranda "Randi" Ball Stewart (Erik). After 3 glorious years raising Randi, she gave birth to her second child Melissa "Missy" Ball on June 25, 1977. Unfortunately, there was a divorce in this decade between Doug and Debbie. But there was still love in Debbie's future. She fell in love and married Larry Sanders and on May 28, 1982 gave birth to her third child Melonnie Sanders (Nick). Melonnie was such a beautiful baby. Randi and Missy loved her so much. They treated her like a doll. Debbie dealt with some tragedy at the end of this decade. She lost her beloved father Byron. She never really got over his death. It plagued her for the rest of her life.

1985-1995
During this decade, Debbie was a single mom raising her three girls. She was also working hard at the phone company where she had been since she was 18 years old. Due to her hard work and diligence, Debbie was able to move her kids to West Valley City where she built a house for them. Debbie and the girls had so much fun visiting the site where their new home would be built. Later that decade as the girls grew into women, Randi gave birth to her first child Alexandria Marie Stewart-Arner ( Leon ) . Debbie was overjoyed to welcome her first grandchild into the world. Debbie was so proud and spoiled that baby relentlessly. Then 2 short years later, she was gifted with her second grandchild Taylor Brianne Thompson ( Travis ) . Debbie spoiled that baby too.

1996-2006
Debbie had one last love, Rollin Domire, in which she received the joys of two additional girls in her life, Deanna Domire (Jim) and Jamie Domire Chacon (Marcus). Unfortunately, this relationship did not last long. In the meantime, Randi was having a busy decade herself. Four years after the birth of Taylor, Debbie received the gift of her third grandchild Jaiden Roell Mauder. Randi wasn't the only one blessing Debbie's life with grandchildren. On September 19, 2002 Melonnie gave birth to fraternal twin girls Zoe McKayla Sanders and Renzi Kay Sanders.

2007-present
On August 27, 2009 Melonnie gave birth to her third child Mia Dannielle Ramirez. Debbie always said that from birth, Mia is the spitting image of Melonnie and she was correct. Debbie also dealt with another tragedy in this decade. Her mother Donna passed away. Though it was a great loss, her family stuck by her during this hard time. There were also some relationships during this decade that sprouted some non-biological grandchildren. Emily Jean Bradley and Haylee Ann Vogele. Debbie always considered these 2 beautiful girls her grandkids. You may start to ask yourself, did Debbie ever receive a grandson? And the answer is no, she did not. However, on September 21, 2016, Jaiden gave birth to her first child Marcus Luis Stewart Garcia. Debbie was so happy and excited to welcome her first GREAT grandchild into the world - and he was a BOY! No one in the family could believe it. Finally, after 11 girls, we finally had our boy. After many years of retirement and grandkids, Debbie started to have some health issues. Unfortunately, Debbie's health continued to spiral downward. On December 21, 2018, Debbie passed away in her sleep at the age of 66 in her home in Magna, Utah. Debbie was extremely loved by her family and she will be missed dearly.

She is survived not only by her siblings, daughters , grandchildren and great grandson, but she is also survived by:
7 nieces: Traci Elnora McGregor, Stacy Lee Oliver, Casey Ann Reney, Lacey Lynn Archuleta, Jacey Kaye Heiner, Chanelle McGregor and Molly McGregor, 1 nephew: Shaun Lamar McGregor.
