Dorothy Jean Christensen, age 89, passed away on January 4, 2023. She was born on March 4, 1933, in South Gate, California to Marvin Christensen and Dorothy Bernice Koener.
Dorothy enjoyed collecting miniatures and old movies and making quilts out of pillow shams. She was well known for her love of ice cream and famous Boiled raisin cake. She was involved in many humanitarian programs through her church. Most of all, she was a peacemaker and showed by example how to love as Jesus loves unconditionally.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Terry Conlan, Karen Reynolds, and Debra Tripp. She was preceded in death by her sister Silvia Pead, and brothers; Gary Christensen, and Gail Christensen.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
