Erik Casey Sillitoe, 31, of Salt Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, following a long struggle with addiction. Erik was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 1, 1983, to Sheri Dee Wright (Craig) and Kenneth Sillitoe.
He is survived by his mother Sheri, stepfather Craig and his father Kenneth; his sister Lyndee (Cameron) and his three brothers Jake (Mckenzee), Josh and Colton; his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins and two beloved dogs, Ozzie and Max. He also leaves behind four very special little people, nieces Anastin and Olyvia and nephews Zayne and Archer Casey. He is preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Sillitoe, Grandpa Wright and his little sister Ashley, who was there to meet him at the gates of Heaven.
Real Talk - Erik had the most beautiful smile and a laugh matched by no other. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. To honor him we ask that you trade in your dress shirt and tie and come in your favorite sports team attire.
A viewing on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, located at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. A viewing will precede the funeral from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Even though we love him and will miss him dearly, he is finally at peace.
