Our beloved mother and wife, Frances Kisselburg, passed and left us at the age of 81, on November 17th, 2024. Her journey began in the agricultural communities of Le Grand, where as a young teenager, contributed her earnings to help support her parents. This early experience of responsibility and sacrifice would shape the woman she would become.
Mom's life was built on a foundation of unwavering principles. Her Catholic faith guided her decisions and actions, providing her with strength and moral clarity throughout her life. She lived her beliefs not just through worship, but through her daily actions and the way she raised her family.
One of her greatest joys was caring for others. As a young girl, she helped raise her siblings, and later, she poured that same loving dedication into raising her own children. She taught us the importance of responsibility, the dignity of work, and the value of managing resources wisely. Her careful stewardship of family finances wasn't just about money – it was about creating security and opportunities for those she loved.
Mom had an adventurous spirit that drew her to travel, exploring new places while always keeping her roots firmly planted in her values and family. She was a woman of conviction who engaged passionately with conservative causes she believed would create a better world for future generations.
Perhaps her greatest legacy is the example she set: that a life well-lived is one of purpose, dedication, and service to others. She showed us that true success isn't measured by material wealth, but by the lives we touch and the principles we uphold. From those early days working as a teenager to her final days, she never wavered from her commitment to hard work, family, and faith.
As we bid farewell to our mother, we carry forward the lessons she taught us: the importance of family, the value of hard work, the strength found in faith, and the wisdom of living by one's principles. While our hearts ache with her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her influence lives on through all the lives she touched.
Mom, you showed us how to live with purpose and die with dignity. May you rest in peace, knowing that your legacy of love, faith, and dedication will continue through generations to come.
