Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Genele P. Busha passed away peacefully in her home with daughter LoreeAnn by her side. She was born July 7, 1924 in Lehi, Utah to Ruby K. Pack and Blaine W. Pack.
Genele spent most of her younger years in Salt Lake City where she attended school and graduated from East High. Mom loved to go dancing and it was there that she met the love of her life William J. Busha. They were married for 60 years, and together they have five children. She was a member of the LDS church and will be remembered as a loving, positive, encouraging, and hardworking individual.
Genele retired from Intermountain Health Care at the age of 80 were she continued to volunteer her time after retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, listening to the spoken word, but above all she enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz basketball games. She had a huge addiction to chocolate and Mogley, her four-legged pal, brought her lots of joy and comfort.
Genele is survived by daughters LoreeAnn Lindsey, Shelly (Dan) Allred, Jennifer (Ron) Zitting; Grandchildren Dale Rowley, Joshua Lindsey, Jordan Fry, Justin Fry, Sasha Lindsey, Janae Fry, Katelyn Curtis, Kennedy Curtis, and many beloved great grandchildren. Genele is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Busha, son, Gregory P. Busha, parents, Ruby and Blaine Pack, and brother, Blaine Pack.
The family would like to thank the hospice team and caregivers involved in her care. Mom always said, "Don't forget, I'm still the boss!"
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Memorial Holladay Cemetery located at 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
