George Warren Jackson was so kind and so generous. He loved his family with all his heart and mind. He was supportive of everyone he came across. He cared about others, no matter how you came into his life. He didn't judge, he only accepted with kindness. He was devout in his love of his savior and God. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Japan and treasured that experience his whole life.
He was raised by a strong and loving single mother, his father passed away when he was 2, and then went on to raise 4 strong and loving daughters and an Amazing son. He married a wonderful and loving woman. Their love sheltered their family through hard times And gave them joy through the good and bad.
He delighted in his large family, with 5 living children, 12 grandchildren, and 4 step-grandkids. George was always strong in body and mind. He helped in every way he could and whoever he could. While his body no longer lives his spirit is alive and glowing bright as he continues to create joy and spread kindness. He will be missed more than words can say. We can all be comforted to know he loved and cared for us and he wishes us happiness and joy. While we will miss him here, so many will be delighted to reunite with him. We know he will be most excited to be with his daughter, who passed away as an infant, and his loving parents.
We will be celebrating George's life on Saturday February 8th between 2 and 4 PM at 8825 S 1095 W West Jordan, UT 84088. Please come to share stories, food, and love.
