Our Beloved Gilbert A. Vasquez, age 52, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2019, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy (Herman) Vasquez, sons Anthony, Andrew and Alex, daughter Andrea (Gilbert) Martinez, grandchildren Giovanni, Arianna, Dezireea Martinez, nephew Junior, niece Natasha (Whitney) Vasquez, ex-wife and friend Sheila, many cousins who were considered like brothers and sisters Johnny, Alice, Larry, Patricia and many more, aunts and uncles Gini and many more, lots of friends Crystal, Pepar, Miranda, Dave and many more.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his father Leroy Vasquez, brothers Joe and Simmon Vasquez, sister Bernice Vasquez and his grandparents and all the other family and friends who opened up their wings to welcome him home.
Dad you will be deeply missed and you have so many people who love you. We all know you will watch over us especially Alex. Now you will live on through all of our hearts and through your grandchildren who have your characteristics. Goodbyes are not forever or the end, it simply means we will miss you and see you again. Your memory is now a treasure!
