Ilse Wagner Ehlert

1956 ~ 2014

Ilse Mathilde Wagner Ehlert Age 57 returned peacefully home on January 15, 2014 in Riverton, Utah after a valiant battle with cancer.  Ilse was born on June 22nd, 1956 in Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany to Martin Roland Wagner and Marianne Agnes Haas.

Ilse was well known for her endless capacity to love unconditionally. Her love for others was so strong you could see it shining out towards others in reach. She was a hard working mother who loved all her children unconditionally.  She lived for her children doing everything and anything for them at all times. She always welcomed others into her home and enjoyed serving others in any way she could. A hobby of Ilse's was rearranging and decorating her home. All the way from the welcoming sign on the door to her balcony made everyone always feel at home and admired the cozy feel and touch she had in making her home everyone's home. Ilse was also a very strong woman, with all her challenges and battles she faced she endured through it all. When the time came that Ilse was ready to return home to her Heavenly Father she left a gift for all of us to see. A reminder of how much happiness she brought and shared during her short time on earth, a smile on her face.

She is survived by Nicole Martine Ehlert Wilson (daughter), Anthony Christopher Ehlert (son), Mark Thomas Ehlert (son), Agnes Wagner Sparks (sister), Ingo Roland Wagner (brother),  Jayden Abbate (grandson), Jaxon Abbate (grandson), Tyler Michael Wilson (grandson), and Jack Raymond Ehlert (former spouse).

She was preceded in death by Martin Roland Wagner (father), Marianne Agnes Haas (mother), Henrike Berta Emma Bevan (sister), Michael Todd Wagner Ehlert (son), Trae Charles Wilson (grandson).

Funeral Services will be held on January 18th, 2014 at 1945 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah at 12:00 PM.  Friends and neighbors may greet the family at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
