Our dear, sweet Irene Barker Franklin returned to her Father-in-Heaven September 7, 2015 in Payson, Utah. She was born December 17, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Steven and Shirleen Barker. She married her best friend, Robert Dale Franklin, July 30, 2004.
Irene graduated from Mountain View High School and then attended Steven Henager's College. She injoyed collecting and making dream catchers. She loved to plan family activities, camping, swimming, and country dancing. She loved to spend time with her family and friends as much as possible.
She is survived by her husband Robert and their six children, Brianna, Devan, Gabriel, Alexander, Elizabeth and Christopher. She is also survived by her parents, Steven and Shirleen Barker, her sisters Angela Jeffers (Russell), Wendy Lee (Jake), and Shirlanne Shields (Brandon).
She was preceded in death by her Father-in-law, Gene Edward Franklin.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Payson 1st Ward located at 200 South 400 East, Payson, Utah with a viewing prior to services at 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the same location.
Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville, Utah.
