Jack Fogg Telford, age 96, died on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born on August 28, 1928 in Rexburg, Idaho to Rulon and Letha Telford. He was married to Peggy Estelle Keith on November 22, 1950 in Los Angeles, California.

Jack served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a successful small business owner for many years until he retired. He served in many church callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also served as a temple worker for 28 years following his retirement from work.

In his younger days he enjoyed deep sea fishing from the port of San Diego, California. Later in life he purchased a boat and enjoyed cruising the waters of Puget Sound in Washington State. During the latter part of his life he moved to St George where he lived to the end of his days.

He is survived by his children and their families. James Telford and his wife Eileen (Draper) and their 9 children with 11 grandchildren; Scott Telford and his wife Linda (Bennion) and their 3 children with 6 grandchildren; Christie Skelton and her 6 children with 1 grandchild; Timothy Telford and 2 children.

Jack is preceded in death by his spouse, Peggy, who passed away on November 1, 2020. They were just three weeks shy of their 70th anniversary when she passed.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 12, at 10:AM. It will be held at the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah 84780. The gravesite is located in the upper section of the cemetery near the baseball parking lot.
