James Elmore Montgomery "Jim or Monty"
James Montgomery, passed away on January 9, 2019, age 72. James passed in the home he built in Morgan, Utah in the company of his wife and sons.
James was born August 18, 1946 to Robert and Irene (Leake) Montgomery in Hollywood, California. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war in Germany where he learned to repair electronic equipment and continued to use this skillset throughout his career as an electrical technician. James was known to all as a man capable of fixing anything and had an entrepreneurial spirit throughout his life.
James joined the LDS church in 1977 and married Georgia Lyn Johnson on August 29, 1981. He is survived by his wife, four sons, daughter, and seventeen grandchildren.
A viewing is scheduled at 10:00 AM and a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 16, 2019 at the LDS chapel at 2755 W Old Highway Road, Morgan, Utah 84050.
