1962 ~ 2015
Jay Hallstrom, of Sandy, Utah, left this world on February 10, 2015. He was 52 years old and lived every year of his life to the fullest. Anyone who ever knew JayBoy would say that he had the biggest heart. His smile, laugh, and his crazy sense of humor could light up the whole room. Never a dull moment around him. His sense of adventure is what drove him every day. From flying airplanes, scuba diving, or rock crawling in his jeep, he thrived on adrenaline. He was a true family man and was extremely proud of the accomplishments of his wife and children. He would always say, "I must have done something right in my life to be blessed with the family I have." He never missed any of his kids' sports events or cheer competitions. He loved the enthusiasm of the Greeks and loved to serve their community. He was a hard worker and great business owner of AAA Cooling and Heating for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Angela, his princess, who he loved with his whole heart, his two beautiful children, Lexie 18, and Nicholas 20, mother Peggy, sister Kim, mother-in-law Katherine along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Val Hallstrom. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 4615 S 3200 W, West Valley City, Utah. Because his children's education was so important, the family asks that in lieu of flowers to make donations to the Jay Hallstrom donation fund at any Zion's Bank to be used towards his children's education.
