1969 ~ 2020
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
Our cherished son, Jeffrey Ray Adams, passed away peacefully in his sleep and into the arms of our Heavenly Father March 15, 2020. His passing leaves a large place in our world that his spirit has lovingly occupied. We will feel the loss for many years to come.
Jeff had many challenges in his life but always met them head on without fear or hesitation. He was loved and admired by family, friends, and all who knew him. To know Jeff, was to love him!
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Cole Adams.
Also, he is survived by his brother, Rodney, mother Carol Odenwalder, step-father Robert Odenwalder, step- sisters Tracy Quist and Leslie Andersen. Also, his father Michael Paul Adams. Preceded in death by his brother Michael Paul Adams II in 2011.
Jeffrey graduated for West High School in 1988, and then chose to join the US Marine Corp. After boot camp he was granted a leave of absence to serve an LDS mission to Paraguay for 1 year and then was reassigned to Corpus Cristi, Texas, for another year to complete his mission. He completed his military duty in the Navy reserve unit in Utah. Jeff and Danielle chose to make California their home for many years. He moved back to Utah because of serious health problems which eventually took his life.
We have had to revise our funeral plans from the traditional service due to the Coronavirus. So, it needs to be as follows:
Viewing service will be held Friday, at 10:00 am on March 20 in at the Wild Flower ward house, 9227 South Wild Clover Lane, in West Jordan, Utah, to immediate family. We are only allowed 10 people to gather at once! So we can allow groups of 10 at one time. At 10:45 we will do the casket closing ceremony. We will then proceed to the Riverton City Cemetery, address 12765 South 1400 West, Riverton, Utah.
Graveside service and grave dedication in Riverton City Cemetery at 12:00 noon. At the cemetery, we are asked to keep a social distance from each other. We have a program for Jeff that we will do at the graveside, and then the dedication of the grave. For stormy weather, we will have a canopy and tent.
