Karol Jean Lewis, 74, of St. George, passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2021. She was born on April 15th, 1946 to Gibb Brask and Selma Hunt. She was married to Larry Peterson and they enjoyed the life and family that they had built.
Karol loved life when she was living on the family farm with all her animals that she loved so dearly. She loved family time and filled that time with memories of camping,4 wheeling and watching the sunrise and set. She met and made many friends that she considered to be like family. She was loved so dearly and will be missed, but never forgotten in our hearts.
The Day God Took You Home
A million times
I've needed you
A million times I've cried,
If love alone
Could have saved you
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place,
No one else can ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
Part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.
She is survived by her children: Tiffany, Travis, Tanya (Kenny) and Terri; grandchildren: Dustin, Damien, Richie, Alicia, Amber, Shannon, Tina and Dewayne along with several great-grandchildren.
Karol is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Lanny Brask, a daughter Sally Ann Peterson and a granddaughter Jennifer Charnetzky.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
