He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mark and Kerry, and grand-nephew Gabriel Darveaux.
Kevin was an amazing and talented musician, having adopted the mandolin as his love. He played many venues over the years where he found his true passion in this life. He was a music historian like no other. He knew and shared his knowledge about every song, band and artist in the most prolific era of music - the 60's & 70's. His true love was Bluegrass, with emphasis on Emmy Lou Harris, Alison Kraus and Nanci Griffith, for which each of his mandolins were named. He loved his Utah mountains and rivers and finding peace there with his brother and best friend Kerry.
As brothers they also shared their passionate skills as surgical techs working for some of the most renowned orthopedic surgeons in the nation. He was a compassionate, loving and softhearted man whose own heart just didn't recover from the tremendous loss of so many family and friends, especially Kerry.
His heart always followed with deep love for each of his nieces & nephews, and each of their children, but special recognition must go to his nephews, Brandon, Mark and Chanse Frenette who never remember a day that he wasn't a part of their life. He loved them as his own & they knew him as more than their Uncle. We will miss him beyond measure but we rest in comfort knowing he has finally found his place with those that went before him.
Please join us for an open house to honor Kevin on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the River Horse restaurant, 540 Main Street, Park City, Utah. Sincere appreciation for yet another special niece Casey Darveaux-Adams and her husband Seth for offering and hosting this for all his special family and friends.
