Larry Richard Baker, age 60, died on November 20, 2020. He was born on June 19, 1960 to Watson Baker and Edna Neeley. On October 14,1944, Larry married his wife, Dawna Rae York.
Throughout his life, Larry loved to go camping with his wife and his three step kids. He especially loved going to Moab during spring break. There were several new places that he got to visit because of his wife, who loved to travel and went to a lot of places with her parents and friends. Larry and his family traveled to Disneyland, Sea World, and the California beaches. They made many memories playing in the ride pools! They traveled to Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. Larry and Dawna drove all the way from Salt Lake to Orlando, Florida.
Larry loved caring for his father's Christmas light tradition of decorating his yard and his home inside and out for 3 years straight. Their home was recognized by Channel 13 Fox Weather with Jodi Seeland. Each year he added more lights. When asked so many, he would laugh and say he wanted his dad to see them from heaven. He also won a trophy one year while living on Bryon Ave for having the most decked out home in the neighborhood that year. The trophy sat on the mantle of the Bryon Aves house.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dawna Baker; his three step children, Kira Bradshaw, Derrick York, and Aleeshia Bradshaw; his sister, Bonnie Bryan and family; his brother, Ernie and his three daughters.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Watson Baker and Edna Neeley; his sister Karen Baker; and his sister-in-law Diana Baker.
