Lauren Winona Paulita Blackshire was born on July 16, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Larry Will Blackshire, Jr. and the late Debra Antoinette Downell. Lauren walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 4, 2018, at the age of 20. She graduated from West High School of Salt Lake City, and began a modeling career.
Her faith carried her through after the loss of her mother. Her greatest desire was to be like her mother, who was full of life and loved living. Lauren had an unfailing love and desire to have a united life with family. She was happiest when she was among family, food, and laughter. She always believed in others, even when they didn't believe in themselves. Lauren was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Lauren was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Jefferson Downell, Jr. and Paulita Lovato Downell. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her brothers John Arnold Jr., Cleotis Shipman, Jr., and Larry Blackshire, sister Jasmine Blackshire, Aunts Juanita Downell and Tyrene Downell, and Uncles Donnell McCants, Stephen Downell, Timothy Downell, and Jonathan Downell.
There are those whose lives death cannot diminish. Their love radiates forever in the hearts of family and friends.
