Our beloved Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, Leona Curtis Jones Bodell Hansen, passed away peacefully at home on February 25. 2017. Mom was born on February 6, 1929 in Springdale, Utah, during the recession.
Mom is survived by her son Dennis Bodell (Sue), her daughter Tina Bodell Payne (Charlie), sisters Carol Green and Ileen Barrett, 11 grandkids, 24 great-grand kids and 2 step great- great grand kids.
Mom was proceeded in death by her husbands Ralph Jones, James Bodell and Darrell Hansen, her daughter Doreen Bodell , her son Evan LaVar Jones, brother Gerald and sister Judy. We will all miss her deeply.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 949 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery located at 3115 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
