Leslie D. LaFave

Riverton, Utah - Leslie "Les" D. LaFave, age 62, died on April 28, 2021. He was born on August 16, 1958 in Cody, Wyoming to Lloyd and Birdie LaFave. He Married Gretchen McCain on February 26, 1983.



Les worked at his job with Steris for 37 years and loved the field he worked in. He loved to travel and meet new people; he never knew a stranger. He loved cars, talking about them and ones he used to own. He enjoyed the rides we took in his brother's side by side, and was looking forward to buying one of his own to share with our friends and relations. He loved Las Vegas and Wendover; time to let his hair down.



He is survived by his wife, Gretchen of 38 years, Brothers Lloyd (Joan), Levi, and sister Candace Olsen, and brother-in-law, Greg McCain. He has many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, a set of friends that he considered his family, Gordon and Dawn Ebner (Jessica and Bruce, Thomas and Stephanie), and Eli Dicklich (Barb).



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, father Lloyd LaFave, Mother Birdie Cranmore (Roy), many uncles and aunts, and his brother-in-law, Kevin McCain.



There will be a Celebration of Life in Casper, Wyoming (where Les will be laid to rest) in late July or August. Gretchen will post this date when it comes available on her Facebook account if you would like to join them, should be a great party.
