1936 ~ 2017
Lydia Shyrleen McNeil passed away on August 25, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Shyrleen was born to Lathan and Blanche McNeil on May 16, 1936 in Logan, Utah.
She was the oldest of four children. She married Orthell "Ted" Dennison on June 19, 1953 in the Logan Temple. Together they had four children, Chris (Lisa) Dennison, Dorian Hains, Larry (Nikki) Lankford and Julie (Jay) Jensen.
They lived many places throughout their lives but her two favorite were Germany and Cupertino, California. They spent time later in life in Guam, where Shyrleen organized and directed a youth pageant that she had fond memories of.
She loved to sing, paint, play the piano, cook and have pretty nails. She enjoyed her profession of 32 years as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Author. She had a great interest in people and their lives. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lathan; sister-in-law, Vicki; dear friend, Kathy and granddaughter, Jesse. She is survived by her mother, Blanche Bouwhuis; sister, Alberta (Gerald) Bodrero; sister, Carolyn Trujillo; brother, Weston (the late Vicki) McNeil; her four children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with one on the way.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30,2017 at Logan City Cemetary, Logan, Utah.
