Margaret Abby Clawson

d. February 28, 2017

Our Loving Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend returned to her Heavenly Father. She passed February 13, 2017, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born October 18, 1922 to Abby Squires and Arthur R. Davis.

She enjoyed many friends and loved golfing at Willowcreek Country Club as an A team member. She enjoyed 18 holes on her 93rd birthday as well as Tennis with the Thursday night group and of all her bridge friends. They were a weekly joy up until her last two weeks before passing.

Her loving partner Dr. Warren Hughes, was a father and grandfather to the family, for 35 years. We all miss him. She was a beloved, inspiring and gracious person to all who admired her, we all wanted to be like Margaret. Her grandchildren were her best friends and her great grandchildren always looked forward to her saying "how are you darling?" They gave her great joy. She attended East High and the University of Utah.

She is survived by brother Robert (Bobbie) L. Davis (Helen), Children; Murray Whitney,(Ann Marie) Dave Clawson, (Judith) Meg Osguthorpe (Rick); grandchildren, Mark and Mick Whitney (Christine), Khristophor, Schaffor (Andrea), Hafin Clawson, sister Wynter Abby Clawson Johnson (Dr. Dave) Kenzi and Kyler Osguthorpe and 9 Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Murray Wells Whitney, second husband, Robert Wiscomb Clawson, brother Richard Davis and son, Scott Clawson.

May the greens be greener, the fairways smoother, until we meet again.....

Many thanks to decades of support and friendship to Lynda Sala and Toni Carter.
