Marian Koenig passed away peacefully January 2, 2022. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 3, 1957, to Werner and Christa Koenig. She was the youngest daughter of six children and lived in her childhood home most of her life.
Marian's incredible mind and thirst for knowledge fed her particular interest in biology and human science; always willing and eager to share her learnings with family and friends. Most recently Marian said, "When I receive phone calls and visits, it makes me feel loved and part of the family." Family and friends were an important part of her everyday life, regularly connecting to loved ones was a favorite pastime. It was with dedication, love, sacrifice, and tenderness Marian cared for her mother in the final years of your life and in death she is finally reunited with her parents.
Marian is survived by her siblings Christine McKinley, Michael (Julie) Koenig, Tara (James) Evans, Werner Koenig, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

As a family we wish to express our gratitude and admiration to the many doctors, nurses, and medical staff that regularly interacted with and guided Marian throughout her life.
