Mark Lewis Watson

d. January 14, 2021

Mark Lewis Watson, 61 years old, passed away at his home on December 31, 2020. He was born to Russell and Nancy Watson, in San Bernardino, California on March 23, 1959. He married Susan Lynn Seager on October 4, 2007.

Mark was a strong man.  He always worked on his strength, and he always pushed to keep the strength he had. He was a veteran, serving 18 years.  Some of his accomplishments were teaching others what to do for survival and how to stay alive in different climates, should it be desert, jungle, or icy cold terrain.  He taught classes to pilots or those who were at risk of becoming a POW so they knew how to help themselves.  Most of these classes required going through the course first to experience what you are teaching.  His official title was Life Support Staff Sergeant.

He had many hobbies.  He loved the dogs we had. He enjoyed cutting stones for people to make jewelry or other things.  He loved to paint with oil paint - he painted beautiful pictures and he did it with no help.  He didn't need to trace or write something to paint.  He was blessed with a talent.  He loved to read and study.  He made a goal to always try to help someone in need every day.

He is survived by his wife Susan; his little dog Max, who was very special to him; his sister Pam, brother Chris; and his 3 children Bergandy, Johnathan, and Samantha from his first marriage.  He is survived by 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Mark requested cremation and no funeral but there will be military honors, at a later time.

Mark was loved by anyone that took the time to get to know him.  If someone needed help, he would do his best to help them out.

Mark will be missed by his wife and dog Max.  He will be missed by family members, and friends.  Mark was one of a kind.  He did his best to be friendly and helpful.  He will be greatly missed.
