Mary Catherine Pruitt

Surrounded by her loved ones, Mary Catherine Pruitt (Cathy Pruitt) age 70, passed on October 27, 2024. She was born on May 29th 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edward and Dorothy Jones Peterman. Cathy was married to Dennis L. Pruitt on January 16, 1999.

She loved gardening, raising chickens, cows and yard work. She enjoyed camping and climbing.

Cathy was devoted to her 39 year career as a registered nurse.

Cathy is survived by her husband Dennis L. Pruitt, her children Danielle Racine Youngberg, Kristin Michelle Schmidt and Kevin Mark Schmidt; Sister, Linda Amor and three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, David Randall Schmidt, her mother, Dorothy Vivian Jones; her father, Edward E Peterman Sr; brothers, Michael Peterman, Phillip D. Peterman and Ernest Peterman.

A celebration of life will be held at various locations, Elko, Nevada, November 16, 2024 and a future date in December in Apple Valley, Utah. Please reach out to family for locations and times.
