Mary Josephine Terburg passed away peacefully on Friday the 15th of September, 2017 from incidents due to age. Mary Jo was born on October the 16th, 1930 in Homestead Florida to Andries Terburg and Laura Susan Clements Terburg.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Grietje Terburg Rowley. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Terburg Anderson and her brother William Terburg. Mary was never married and had no children but does have many nephews and nieces who love her very much.
Mary spent many years in service to the infirm and housebound, working as a traveling aid for a Home Health Agency. Mary enjoyed gatherings with her extended family, maintaining picture albums and talking about all of those that she loved.
Mary spent her last years as a resident at Sandy Regional Rehabilitation Center. Mary's family expresses their great appreciation to the staff of Sandy Rehabilitation for their tender loving kindness and patience in taking care of our beloved sister.
A Graveside Service will be held for Mary on Saturday, September 23rd 11: AM at the Farmington City Cemetery, located at 500 South and 200 East in Farmington, Utah. A private brief viewing will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday the 22nd at Affordable Funerals located at 5239 Green Pine Drive (480 West) Murray, Utah.
