Maybellyne (Jean) Williams was born on January 19, 1936 in Hearne, Texas, to the late Willie Lee Watson-Williams and Gus Williams.
Jean is survived by five sisters: Katie McKay, Carrie Smith, Joyce Simmons, all of Amarillo, Texas, Elizabeth Hodges of St. Louis, Missouri, and Nellyn Scott of Sacramento, California, and one brother, Gus Sidney Williams of Palmdale, California.
Jean is survived by two daughters: Danetta Owens and Rosita Anderson; (4) grandchildren Victor, Robert, Ebony, and Zettia, fourteen great-grandchildren. Jean also has a host of loving nieces and nephews, and devoted friends.
She is preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel Williams, Walter Williams, LeGusta Williams, and Leon Williams.
After 79 years of living a full and wonderful life, Jean went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 3, 2015.
