Miranda Ball Stewart

After a long battle with cancer it is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Miranda Ball Stewart. She was and always will be the matriarch of her family. She put her family and friends first above all else and she wishes nothing more than their happiness.


She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah to Douglas Ball and Debra McGregor in 1974 and shortly after, received the gift of two beautiful little sisters, Melissa Ball and Melonnie Sanders. Miranda was also blessed with her step mother Patricia Ball and more extended family to fill her heart. Her first marriage to John Stewart produced a life long friendship and three beautiful daughters, Alixandra Stewart-Arner, Taylor Thompson and Jaiden Mauder. Miranda and John raised strong and independent women through their unique parenting techniques, even after their divorce. Miranda met the love of her life Erik Stevens and quickly realized they were meant to be soulmates. The two of them built a loving home and life with each other, sharing laughter and romance until the very end. Miranda was able to witness the marriages of her two oldest daughters Alixandra and Taylor, welcoming her son-in-laws Travis Thomspson and Leon Arner. The most spectacular blessing she received was the birth of her first grandchild Marcus Stewart-Garcia and got to witness her youngest daughter blossom into an amazing mother.
