Nicole Juanita Pacheco, age 38, passed away on July 2, 2022. She was born October 6, 1983 to Annette Pacheco Martinez and Paul Martinez. Nicole resided in Taylorsville, Utah, where she lived with her mom, sister, brother, and her four children. Nicole Pacheco and Carlos Chavez had four children – Alexis, Carlos Jr., Isaiah, and Gabriel.

When Nicole was younger, she liked to spend a lot of time with her grandparents in West Jordan. She would go on vacation and see relatives with hem. Nicole attended West Jordan High School. She loved to listen to oldies music and to Sunday Night Slow Jams, spending time with her kids, granddaughter, and niece. She liked to cook fried quesadillas and enchiladas. Nicole enjoyed going to Las Vegas with family. She also liked going to Lagoon. Nicole liked watching Netflix movies.

Nicole is survived by her children – daughter Alexis Chavez, sons Carlos Chavez Jr., Isaiah Chavez, and Gabriel Chavez; granddaughter Zianna L. Chavez, mother Annette Pacheco Martinez, father Paul Martinez, sister Naticia D. Martinez, brother William Anthony Moore, grandmother Juanita T. Pacheco, goddaughter Mia Nicole Gonzalez, and niece A’Miyah Marie Silva. She also has many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nicole is preceded in death by her grandfather Esequiel D. Pacheco, cousin CrystalAnn Gonzalez, cousin Ramon Madrid “Doe Boy”, grandmother Libby Martinez, grandfather Esequiel Martinez, and many other relatives.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 257 North 700 West, Salt Lake City, Utah with a funeral mass to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Venmo account to help raise money to have Nicole’s final resting place at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery – please reach out to Nicole’s family for this information.
