Nolan Scott Wilkins, 66, husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City on April 22, 2017 while holding the hand of his eternal sweetheart, Cindy, and surrounded by his family.
Nolan was born in Long Beach, California, on July 3, 1950. He spent his childhood in Orem, Utah. He graduated from Orem High School and went on to attend Ricks College. Nolan began his career as a meat cutter and later worked in various sales positions for meat companies in the Intermountain West, including the corporate office of Associated Foods in Salt Lake City, Utah. When he moved to St. George he earned his real estate license and sold real estate in the Dixie area.
Nolan married Cindy Robinson on March 13, 2004. Their marriage was later solemnized in April, 2010 at the St. George temple. Nolan was an avid golfer and moved to St. George to enjoy the many opportunities to golf. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling, playing basketball, and going up on Grand Mesa in Colorado to fish.
Nolan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various callings in the church.
Nolan is survived by his wife, Cindy; children: Cameron Wilkins (Kim), Todd Wilkins (Shannon); Kristen Croasmun (Jon), Devin Wilkins (Amber); Steve Robinson (Lisa); and Chris Robinson; 19 grandchildren; and one sister, Gaydell Saks. Nolan was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held in St. George, Utah, on Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 259 N. Mall Drive, St. George, Utah.
Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
