Norman Foote Andrews age 71, passed away on November 21, 2015 in Murray, Utah. Norman was born in New Haven Connecticut on May 12, 1944 to Sheldon Foote and Esther Hancock Andrews. He married Marjorie Zimmer on July 7, 1967. Together they welcomed 5 children into their family.
Norman was a rough, tough cowboy at heart. He served as a supernumerary police officer for the town of North Branford, Connecticut for 11 years and a full time fireman for town of East Haven, Connecticut. for 20 years.
Norman had a heart of gold, with a great love for his family and his country. He proudly served in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.
He enjoyed the outdoor life. Hunting and fishing were his most favored hobbies. Norman loved the Wild West. He loved John Wayne movies. He also happened to be his idol. Dad was a history buff. World War ii was his specialty.
Norman is survived by his daughters Monica Belenchia, Meredith Andrews, Melanie Andrews, sons Myles Andrews, Nathan Andrews, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Although he was more rugged at heart, he was also tender and kind. Norman had a great sense of humor and he enjoyed making his friends and family laugh.
Norman was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, 12:00 p.m., at Elysian Burial Gardens located at 1075 East College Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
