Paul Lyle King

d. February 28, 2017

Paul Lyle King, loving son, brother, father and uncle, passed away at his home after a long battle with addiction, on February 9, 2017.

Born in Hamilton Montana on July, 20 1975 to Leslie Marie Rios and Russell Lee King, Paul was rambunctious and caring with a good sense of humor. He loved being outdoors and in nature. He loved to cook and to create art and he had a passion for vinyl records and poetry. He was always gentle and kind and giving to those in need.

Paul had an incredible work ethic, almost never missing a day off and he had many achievements in his life, however his two greatest were his two sons, Quintin Xavier and Dylan Thomas, both boys who adored their adventurous and playful father.

Paul was a dedicated son and brother and had a special and close relationship with his mother. They spoke almost daily and he was always doing little things to help her around the house. His loss has been her greatest heartbreak.

Paul was close to all of his siblings and only eleven months apart from his older brother Travis, the two were inseparable like twins, for many years they were always together, laughing and joking. Although they went toward different paths, the two remained close until his death.

He is survived by his sons Quintin and Dylan and fiancé Lark Anderson, his parents Leslie and Russell and stepfather Donnie Mckendree. Siblings Donnie Jr (Jennifer), Travis (Lindsey), Tony (Lydia), David (Jeneth), Rachael (Blaine) and Alicia. Paul is preceded in death by his niece Nina (Alicia) and favorite Uncle, Wayne Mckendree and grandmother Rose McKendree. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Paul was a slave to his addictions and tried many times to quit. He knew what it was doing to his body and how it impacted his life, he would want anyone who is suffering to seek out help when possible.

Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb 16, 2017 at 3735 S 7525 W Magna Utah. Viewing will be from 10-12 PM. Services will begin at Noon, followed by a graveside dedication. Internment will be near his beloved niece Nina, at Pleasant Green Cemetery, Magna Utah.
