Richard Kaye Cramer

September 22, 1948 — July 7, 2022

Richard Kaye Cramer passed from many health and physical challenges of this life into the arms of his departed loved ones in a happy reunion on July 7th, 2022, St. George, Utah.
Rich’s life began in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 22, 1948, when the doctor delivered him to his loving parents, Imogene “Jean” Berry and A Lowell Cramer and to an older brother Robert and older sister Bonnie. They were a close-knit family, enjoying many happy, exciting, and fun times filled with love, caring, sharing, laughter, gentle good humor, great music and entertainment. They enjoyed the beauty of nature, memorable people, animals, and travels that broadened their horizons and their appreciation of God’s handiwork.
During the course of his life, Rich had three careers. One in the U.S. Army, retiring as a senior non-commissioned officer, another in the textile industry and lastly as a correctional officer in the North Carolina prison system up until he was required to retire due to health reasons
Rich was married three times, Janet, Judy, and Paula before being blessed by and marrying his best friend and eternal companion. Bernice and Rich were sealed in the St. George, Utah Temple on December 11th, 2014, after Bernice’s conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He was blessed with and survived by four individually special and wonderful children: Kenneth (Courtney), Brandon, Teri (Larry) Dickerson, Mark Cramer. Also surviving are two bonus children Jason Behuniak and Amanda (Elwin) Hermosillo, along with nine grandkids, two sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. Rich was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, parents, a brother and a grandson, Blake.
