Riley Madison Warner of Logan, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2024, at the age of 24. Riley was born on March, 16, 2000 to Angela Warner in Murray, Utah.
Riley spent her early childhood in West Valley City and later moved to Logan, Utah where she graduated from Fast Forward High School in 2019. Riley spent 4 years in Tremonton/Garland area and then returned to Logan.
Riley was loved by so many people! First and foremost by her adoring mother, Angela. They had a special bond and were best friends as well as mother and daughter. They loved the traditions they had. Whether watching meteor showers, watching movies, going for late-night walks, or just hanging out and talking, they always enjoyed their time together. Riley was Angela's "Squirrel of a Girl."
Riley was especially adored by kids and animals. She had a passion for animals and loved children. They seemed to be drawn to her and she had a special way with them. She was extremely creative and artistic and you can always find her with a pad of paper and a pen sketching or drawing something--usually for someone else. She loved crafts and was always creating something wonderful.
Riley's laugh was contagious with her smile and cute little smirk. She was a hard worker and had a great work ethic. She loved working in the barn, cleaning stalls, and spending time with the horses. She was worked for the last four years at Dollar Tree in Tremonton and Providence.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Barbara S. Doyle; her grandfather Sterling J. Warner; and her uncle S. Todd Warner.
Riley is survived and will be missed tremendously by her mother and best friend Angela; her cat Zoey, her dog Sage; cockatiel Bobby, and Cockatoo Lago. She will also be greatly missed by all who were blessed to spend time with her including Lynn and Josh Weber family, her host parents Dave and Diane Morgan family (Tremonton), roommates, co-workers, and her many friends. She is also survived by her father Marty Garcia and his children Donovan and Mercedes.
As Riley has gone from the loving arms of her mother to her Heavenly Father, we are blessed to know that she is now free from her earthly trials. We know that we will find her in the beauty around us and will have to wait until the day we are reunited for eternity with our beautiful girl again.
A private viewing and Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights. A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 2:00pm in the Logan Stake Center located at 940 West Three Point Avenue, for her loved ones to come together and share our memories as we celebrate the beautiful woman we all know and love.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to her mother Angela, to take care of any extra expenses she may have and to care for Riley’s cat Zoey, who has diabetes.
