Rosalie Martarano Puffer passed away on May 20, 2021 two months exactly before her 87th birthday in St. George, Utah.
Rosalie was born on July 20, 1934 in San Jose, California to Frank and Melba Shaw Martarano. She grew up in San Jose and was very close to her extended family there.
She married J. Byron Puffer October 21, 1953 in the St. George Temple. Together they raised their four children. Sheree, Michelle, David and Rick.
She has lived in San Jose, California, Longmont and Boulder, Colorado, Tucson, Arizona, Orem, Utah, Nampa and Meridian, Idaho and St. George, Utah.
Rosalie enjoyed sewing, cooking and art. She loved watching "Bob Ross" and other teaching videos. Rosalie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in various callings and loved to go to the Temple. She and Byron served together in the Boise Temple as ordinance workers.
She is survived by her children Sheree, Michelle and Rick. Along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings Frank, Carol, Joan, Gerri, Cindy and Diane and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Byron, son David, her parents Frank and Melba; siblings Melba, Judy, Daniel and Johnny.
