Stephen J. Martinez, age 88, passed away on April 15, 2023, at home and surrounded by his family.

He and Virginia were married at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Salt Lake City, Utah, in April 1953.
Stephen was self-employed most of his life. Lastly as a light construction contractor. He enjoyed hiking, camping, playing the guitar, and hosting visitors to southern Utah. He spent hundreds of voluntary hours helping many people to gain this Bible-based hope. Local residents and visitors could often see Stephen standing near Highway UT-9 on the way to Springdale, offering Bible literature and discussions to passersby.
