Steven's funeral service

Steven George Langford, 74, passed away on November 23, 2024. He was born September 19, 1950, in Bethesda, Maryland to Byron George and Bernadean Lamorille Langford. He was married to Ladora Gibson, February 13, 1999.

Steve, also known as Evo, was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He served two terms of service in Vietnam, which did impact his health. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed football and played when he was younger. He was previously an outdoorsman that loved camping, fishing and hunting. He missed his hunting companion that was his son Jason. He also loved bowling and was on several teams and won many trophies. He really enjoyed swimming as he felt free from his pain. Steve loved his children and added stepchildren and foster children and adopted several as he loved being a dad.

Steve is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ladora, daughters: JeNae Mears, Jalene (Cory) Langford, Nazee (Trent) Treweek, Roxanne (Adam) Kearl, Tasha Langford, Zoie Langford, Sara Langford, sons: Jeremy Khosropanah, Ali (Alyssa) Langford, Zaimere Langford, Kody Langford and stepchildren: Sheri (Jose) Rodriguez, Katrina Lindsey, 27 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Carol Lindsey, brother: Gordon Langford, son: Jason Langford, daughters: Jennifer Langford, Jamie Langford and stepson: Ronald Groves.

Viewing will be 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday December 8, 2024, at 5233 S 3200 W, Taylorsville, Utah. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024, also at Heritage Park 6th Ward, 5233 S 3200 W, Taylorsville, Utah. A second viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
