Susan Kaye Benhardt, renown photographer/cinematographer passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, of natural causes. Susan was 63. Known for her stunning photography, both landscapes, moving portraiture, and LDS subjects. As a cinematographer, she ventured across the U.S., England & Africa shooting documentaries and feature length films, including "Ancestors" and specials for PBS. Educated at Brooks Institute for Photography, she completed her Masters of Arts degree in Film from Brigham Young University. Beloved of her family, she is survived by her mother, Reta Benhardt, and sister, Kathy Curtiss and Kathy's 6 children. Preceded in death by father, Harold Benhardt, & sister, Tracy Lynn. Services will be held on Thursday, December 29 at the LDS Chapel, 5156 W Clay Hollow Ave., West Jordan, Utah. The funeral services are at 11 AM, with viewing from 9:30-10:45 and internment at West Jordan City Cemetery.
