Tevita Feongoi'mo'saione Lapu'aho, age 86, passed away January 26, 2019. He was born on March 11, 1932 in Fuaamotu, Tonga to Tipasa Lapu'aho and Fa'aoso Tomasi. He married Marjorie Lynn Simpson on December 19, 1983.
Tevita was a talented man offering almost any skill such as guitar, singing, song writing music. He enjoyed carpentry work, working on his truck and yard work. At a young age, he served three missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a counselor in three different Bishoprics.
He is survived by sons Olalei, Sione, Amoni , and Henga Tonga. Daughters, Vila Tonga, Silika Latu and Marina Kaho.
He is preceded in death by his son Hekoti Lapu'aho.
A wake (Ãpo) will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Granger 15th Ward located at 2835 South 2855 West, West Valley City, Utah. A visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Granger North Stake located at 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, Utah 84119 with Funeral Services to follow at 9:30 a.m. at the same location. Interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
